Welcome, I’m Joy Bergh

I’m a clinician—but also a survivor, a mother, and a witness to what traditional psychiatry too often misses.

The amount of time I listen to patients is much longer than other providers.  They are not just answering a ton of one-liner questions.  The holistic information that is drawn from the patient, like diet, exercise, purpose in life, or spirituality.

The ability to see a patient’s situation and reflect the goodness within them and within their situation back to them that offers a sense of hope for the future.

My Story

I am passionate about this work because I have seen lives changed, marriages restored, addictions broken, and people flourish.  It’s amazing.

Motherhood and marriage came with unexpected challenges including my child’s complex health journey which led me to integrative and functional medicine—a world where the body, brain, and soul are all part of the conversation.

The Human Behind the Clinician

When I’m not in session, you’ll find me in nature, with my children, running, or riding bikes with my family. I believe healing starts in the pauses.
